Swedish Massage techniques are long, slow strokes, teamed with kneading, and are designed to offer relaxation, relief from stress, and an overall calming. This form of touch therapy can be tolerated by even the most sensitive muscles, but if you desire more intense work, communicate that with your therapist. Your massage session is "your" session through customizing. However, you must communicate your preferences with your therapist. River Rock Massage

Following the tradition of century old cultures, river rocks smoothed by years of rushing water, are “palmed” by your therapist to offer deeper relief and relaxation to muscles. A variety of sizes of river rocks will be used on specific points along your spine, in the palms of your hands, or between your toes to help improve energy flow within your body.

Reflexology

Using pressure on specific areas on the hands and feet, this treatment offers increased circulation, and improved energy flow for improved physiological and psychological response. Reflexology is a natural healing practice based on the principles of association between specific points on your hands and feet in relation to glands, organs and the skeletal structure of the body. Cupping

Designed to help renew your system, this technique offers a release of toxins and the flushing of impurities, as well as improving your flow of qi (vital energy). With advanced training for this modality, heated glass globes are strategically positioned and manipulated over the surface of your skin to help your body release toxins and ease muscle stress. Although not painful, some bruising may result from the suction of the globes on your skin. Slenderizing Body Wrap

The Grotto

Experience The Grotto. Step into the cave-like structure for this self-guided body treatment journey you can enjoy alone or with friends. In a “social setting” with everyone in swimwear, a spa attendant will cover your exposed skin with our specialty body masque formulated with aloe, abalone and nutrients from the sea*. Moving deeper into the cave, you enter the desert heat chamber, where the heat relaxes your skin allowing the body masque to seep into your pores. When ready, travel into the Monsoon area where the torrential rain, from multiple shower-heads, rinses your body clean. The final part of this body treatment journey is the Rain Forest, where the cool mist chills your body, trapping the body masque to offer the benefits of softer, smoother and more hydrated skin for several days to come. Relax and enjoy chilled water or hot spa tea before you continue with the remainder of your services.

Ear Candling

A holistic practice used by many ancient cultures, this treatment offers cleansing and purification of the spiritual and physical body. Current research shows this practice reflects the results of reflexology and acupuncture in encouraging healing within the body.

While lying on your side, a hand-rolled, lit, open bees wax cone is placed into the edge of your ear. This is a non-invasive, peaceful and relaxing experience. As bees wax contains propolis, a natural antimicrobial agent, it is believed that this holistic treatment helps to detoxify the lymphatic system as well as clear the sinuses. An end result is improved clarity for hearing, sight, smell and taste. Subtle changes may also occur in greater emotional stability and an overall sense of well being. Some experience a subtle, and safe, crackling sound as the cone is burning.

A foot soak in the ionic foot bath helps remove toxins and heavy metals from your system. As we bathe, breathe, drink and eat, we fill our bodies with impurities. This system cleansing acts as a magnet to pull impure particles from your blood tissue into the water bath. The Ioncleanse treatment acts to offer homeostasis in balancing the positive and negative charges in your body.
